Badminton in Staffordshire

At present, the county is represented by Juniors within the Staffordshire Schools Badminton Association, two Senior teams and two Masters (veterans) teams playing in National Badminton England organised competitions. 

As with all sport, the COVID pandemic had a major impact upon badminton at all levels, especially at junior level, but teams of volunteers throughout the county are working hard to restore all levels of play, from basic coaching of the youngest of players, organising the various leagues within the county, to supporting the teams representing the county. 

This website aims to inform what’s happening within the County, to help players new to badminton to find support to improve and develop their abilities, and support players new to Staffordshire find a club that’s right for them.

It also looks to honour those Staffordshire players who have represented well not only our county, but also our country, in the “Roll of Honour” section.
